Corryong Greenham Street Water Pump Station Upgrade Construction

North East Water has completed a design that will be issued as part of an RfT to the open market seeking to engage a Principal Contractor under a construction contract to carry out the replacement of pumps, pipework and related works at the Greenham Street Water Pump Station (WPS), Corryong.
The Greenham Street (WPS) is co-located with the Greenham Street Clear Water Storage (GCWS) tank at 7 Greenham Street Corryong. The WPS currently pumps water from the GCWS storage (low level system) to the high-level water storages located at Playles Hill.
The GCWS needs to be decommissioned as it is at the end of its usable life and is not required under the Corryong Master Plan. To decommission the CWS tank an upgrade is required to the pumps and pipework of the water pump station to allow the pumps to draw directly from the low level reticulation system.
The contractor will be responsible for completing all associated works, including but not limited to:
• Supply and installation of new pumps (as specified)
• Supply and installation of connecting pipework within the pumpstation
• Supply and installation of new connections to the low-level and high-level reticulation systems
• Integration into existing electrical and control systems
• Modifications to the WPS building, including removal windows and climate control installation
During construction the WPS must remain operational, with only a limited shutdown available. A suitable temporary arrangement is the responsibility of the contractor
