Supply, Delivery and Installation of New Compactus Units and Relocate Existing Compactus Units for the Comprehensive Cancer Centre, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA

Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) is setting up a new Comprehensive Cancer Centre which is currently under construction and due for completion in December 2012. The successful Respondent is required to work cooperatively with any other site trades in the installation of Eight (8) new compactus units and the relocation of Three (3) existing compactus units as well as respond to directions given by the Customer’s on-site representative. The finalisation of works is time critical and must be completed by;

a) New compactus units will be delivered to site, installed and commissioned between 20th December 2012 and 11th January 2013
b) Existing compactus units will be dismantled and relocated into their new positions within the Comprehensive Cancer Centre between 20th December 2012 and 11th January 2013.


PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA (PathWest), QEII site, is constructing a new dedicated pathology building as part of the NMHS redevelopment plans. This is a recommendation of the Clinical Services Plan 2005-2015. This building, designated PP block, is currently under construction and is due for completion in November 2012. The successful Respondent is required to work cooperatively with any other site trades in the installation of the 17 manually operated and 8 mechanically operated new compactus units, 215 bays of metal shelving units and 2 pallet racking systems as well as respond to directions given by the Customer’s on-site representative. The finalisation of works is time critical and must be completed by practical completion date of 29 November 2012.


Prospective Respondents are requested to attend site on 24th August 2012 to provide opportunity for them to conduct a site measure.
