Description
The Department of Agriculture and Food requires the provision of a fully crewed drilling rig and support vehicles plus equipment, to establish no less than five (5) groundwater monitoring sites in the West Midlands project area, approximately thirty (30) kms south of Moora. Each groundwater monitoring site will comprise of a deep piezometer paired with a shallow watertable observation bore. In addition at least one (1) production bore will be installed.
The drilling program will be designed, supervised and results analysed by the Department staff. Drilling will be undertaken using contractors. It is the intention of the Principal that the Works will begin after May 2013, weather and ground conditions permitting and subject to the availability of contractors.
