Description
During 2008 work started on Indian Ocean Drive, providing the last remaining coastal link between Lancelin and Cervantes. Approximately 20 km north of Lancelin a spur road has been constructed to provide access to a lookout and walk trail situated within Nilgen Nature Reserve. The trail to be constructed will consist of one concrete path suitable for disabled access and another longer trail consisting of compacted crushed limestone. Lookout points with limestone seating will be constructed as per the drawings provided. Remedial works such as bitumen sawing and kerbing will be required in the car parking area adjacent to the trails.
