Description
The Department of Finance (the Department) requires an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provided by an independent, external organisation with registered psychologists/qualified Counselors. The Department currently employs approximately 1100 employees predominantly based in the Perth Metropolitan area with regional offices located in Albany, Broome, Bunbury, Carnarvon, Esperance, Gerfalcon, Kalgoorlie, Karratha, Kununurra, Merredin, South Hedland, and Northam.
The EAP provider will be required to provide a comprehensive psychological and counseling service to employees and their immediate family members as required under the Department’s EAP policy.
Respondents must provided:
a) An EAP which includes, but is not limited to:
1. General counseling services
2. Critical incident response services
3. Workplace support services
4. Management support, consultancy and coaching services: and
5. Information sessions
b) The following confidential services:
1. Counseling for the Customer's employees and their immediate family members.
2. Critical incident response services for the Customer's employees and their immediate family members.
c) The following additional services:
1. Confidential workplace support services for the Customer’s managers and staff to assist with resolution of workplace conflict;
2. Management support services providing advice to the Customer’s managers on addressing employee behaviors and situations;
3. Information sessions for managers and staff in developing practical skills and strategies to manage workplace issues, promote health and mitigate risk of psychological harm; and
4. Career transition services for surplus employees
