Request For Tender DAIS 202/02 SOUTH AUSTRALIAN STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT PURCHASE OF CONVENTIONAL AND RENEWABLE ELECTRICITY The South Australian Government and Local Government Authorities are seeking to establish a contract for the sale of electricity to those sites becoming contestable on the 1 January 2003 with one or more energy providers. Responses are sought from organisations that wish to submit a proposal to provide all or part(s) of the following: ·electricity for multi-site requirements; ·electricity for road/public lighting and traffic signals; and ·renewable energy. Prior to the issue of response documentation a briefing will be held to provide potential suppliers with information relating to this Request for Tender. This session will be held on Tuesday 8 October 2002.
