Description

Australia’s carbon markets are evolving and expanding. There is a clear and growing appetite across the private sector and governments to voluntarily reduce emissions in addition to meeting regulatory obligations.

To help support this growth, the Clean Energy Regulator is seeking a partner or partners to facilitate the emergence of an exchange traded market for carbon offset units. This may include the provision of trading, clearing and settlement services, product and market design, market development, education and implementation services, and the provision of a Register of offset units. The latter may include assisting with the possible rebuild of the Australian National Registry of Emissions Units (ANREU).

An Industry information session will be held at the Sofitel Darling Harbour, Sydney at 2pm AEST on Tuesday 11 May 2021.

Bookings for this session must be made through EventBrite

Questions for the information sessions must be submitted in writing before noon AEST on Friday 7 May 2021.
