Description
The Department currently uses F5 Load Balancers, which are essential in providing load balancing of front-end applications accessible from the public internet and the Department’s internal applications. Without the load balancers in place, the Department’s systems would be at risk of exploitation of vulnerabilities.
The Department has deployed F5 Load Balancers for a number of years and has an intention to remain with this manufacturer. The Department will consider both physical and virtual F5 Load Balancer devices as per the specifications
