Kangaroo Island Council
Project Management Services for the Kangaroo Island Airport Upgrade
Details
Description
Kangaroo Island Council has been successful in obtaining funding from State and Commonwealth Government to implement the $18M Kangaroo Island Airport Upgrade Project. The objective of the project is to establish regular, sustainable air access to/from Australia’s east coast and from there to / from international markets.
Essential to the delivery of this project on time, in scope, quality and cost will be effective independent Project Management and the purpose of this tender is to identify and secure the services of suitably qualified, experienced independent project management specialists.
The project is to commence on confirmation of signed funding agreements with State and Commonwealth Governments and it is anticipated that this will be achieved by the end of February. To this end any successful tenderer will be required to start work almost immediately.
This will be an iconic project in South Australia – gateway facilities for direct, cost and time effective access for domestic and international tourism visitors and to open up lucrative east coast markets for Kangaroo Island’s diverse fresh, high value, high margin food products. We look forward to working with the successful tenderer to deliver this vital project.
