Description
The Department of Primary Industries, Water & Environment requires an aircraft, aircrew and associated facilities for the purpose of aerial survey photographic work. The aircraft, aircrew and associated facilities would be contracted for a period of two (2) years, commencing in 2004. The required availability is for a core period of five (5) months only, for each of the above two(2) years and would normally be expected to commence in November and run through for a continous period of five (5) months ending in March of the following year. The aircraft must be fitted with a GPS navigation and photo flight management systems compatible with acquisition of aerial photography to photogrammetric standards plus ports and mountings for the Department's Zeiss RMK cameras and IRU intervalometer. Alternatively the Tenderer may mount their own large format metric aerial survey cameras in place of the Department's Zeiss RMK-A cameras subject to approval of the Tenderer's cameras by the General Manager. The aircraft and crew must be based in Tasmania and when using the Department's cameras, must be based in Hobart. Tenderers must be able to demonstrate a proven capacity to provide aerial survey photographic work with a minimum of five (5) years experience.
