Description
Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) has a requirement for old fence wire, posts & strainers to be collected and removed from the State Barrier Fence (SBF) reserve. SBF rabbit netting has been replaced with 1350cm high “Ringlock”, bringing a greater percentage of the SBF to a wild dog and emu standard. There will be ongoing replacements with another estimated 200km to be completed. Materials from the replacement program remain on the State Barrier Fence reserve posing both an environmental and safety risk and need to be removed. This request is for collection from site and disposal at an appropriate facility.
