Noosa Junction Placemaking Streetscape Project - Stage 2

Tenders are invited for streetscape refurbishment works at Noosa Junction.

Stage 2 of the project comprises landscaping works including the planting of new mature trees and understory plants; new pedestrian 'way-finding' signage (to complement existing signage); new footpath treatments; pedestrian crossing upgrades; new street furniture (public seating, rubbish bins); and decorative lighting. Stage 2 works also include an extensive array of public artworks to be positioned at key locations throughout the precinct.

This is a lump sum contract to commence 16 April 2013 with practical completion required by 8 November 2013. Given the area's major contribution to tourism within the region, construction works will not be permitted during school holiday and public holiday periods.
