For the Supply of a preclinical multimodality PET-CT scanner

UQ seeks Offers for the supply, delivery, installation of a multimodal Preclinical PET/CT with the provision of user training and maintenance, that will allow higher resolution PET imaging with the capability of imaging multiple animals on one imaging session.

UQ has issued this ITO to achieve the following objectives and benefits:

• to replace the current preclinical PET-CT with an up-to-date generation instrument in order to maintain and enhance preclinical PET imaging capability into the next decade;
• facilitate increased collaboration with industry, universities, research centres and institutions; and
• allow researchers to deliver in vivo imaging for multiple animals in one session, with shorter scanning times and lower radiation doses to animals.
