RFT0242 - 2020-21 Roads Resealing Program

Tenders are invited to establish an AS2124 schedule of rates contract for providing bitumen reseals to Gympie Regional Council for the 2020/2021 financial year using sprayed bitumen products. Council requires that the successful tenderer/s be suitably qualified and experienced in all civil construction activities relating to road surfacing and resurfacing. Council also requires that the successful tenderer/s makes all reasonable efforts to meet the timing requirements of Council.

The works include the design, programming, stockpile preparation, procurement of goods, and delivery of nominated reseals throughout the Gympie Regional Council area, including all quality, environmental, traffic management and safety obligations as required as the Principal Contractor.

Suitably endorsed tenders close at the below website address at 2pm Wednesday 2^nd September 2020. In accordance with s228(8) of the Local Government Regulation 2012 (Regulation), Council may decide not to accept any tenders it receives. In accordance with s288(9) of the Regulation any accepted tender must be the one deemed most advantageous to Council. It is noted that the lowest price tender may not be the most advantageous.
