Cooroy Rock Fall Protection Works

Queensland Rail has a requirement to undertake Rock Fall Protection Works at Cooroy123.48 - 123.88 km NCL.

Please note, Queensland Rail is currently undertaking funding approvals for the project and anticipated to be approved September 2022. Queensland Rail intends to undertake a Request for Tender (RFT) process simutaenously to the funding approval, with Contract Award subject to funding approval.

KEY DATE

PRE-TENDER SITE INSPECTION & REGISTRATION (MANDATORY) - Please refer to Section A - Preamble. Item

A mandatory site inspection will be held on Thursday, 28 July 2022. Registration is required and must be completed by 2:00PM Wednesday, 27 July 2022 to allow Queensland Rail time to organise Site Access. Please note, a 4WD vehicle is recommended to access the corridor.

Contractors who wish to attend the Site Inspection can register by emailing the following information to Jade Pettersen, Senior Sourcing Specialist ([email hidden]):

• Email address

A maximum of two (2) representatives per company will be allowed to attend the site inspection. The representatives must be either the company’s employees or their nominated sub-contractors. Only pre-registered nominated representatives will be allowed on site.

TENDER RELEASE

The RFT will be released following the mandatory pre-tender site inspection held Thursday, 28 July 2022 and will aim to establish a Major Works Contract with a suitably capable and experienced Contractor for the Rock Fall Protection Works ensuring high quality work, achieved deadlines and value for money.

The RFT will be released via Ariba Sourcing to Contractor's in attendance at the mandatory site inspection with responses to be submitted via Ariba Sourcing.
