Description

The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for a Software-as-a-Service System for the submission, processing and management of Permits for Access to Roads and Corridor (PARC).

TMR provides access to road corridors for a range of purposes under provisions in the Transport Infrastructure Act 1994. Permission to access the road corridor is provided either via a Road Corridor Permit (RCP) or a Public Utility Permit (PUP). The processes to authorise access are designed to minimise risks to the management of the road corridor and address factors such as safety, efficiency and future planning requirements. In addition, access to the road corridor often requires a Traffic Control Permit (TCP) to ensure safety of road workers, traffic controllers and road users and to minimise any road network impact from the works being undertaken.

At present, the processing and management of permits for corridor access and traffic management is largely a manual process with different forms and processes being used in different Queensland districts. The processes are manual, inconsistent, inefficient, repetitive, resource heavy and deliver a poor customer experience.

TMR is seeking to procure and implement an online IT solution to address these issues.

Suppliers are required to complete and return PART C Response Schedules to submit an Offer.
