Woodford State School STEM Refurbishment

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the STEM
Refurbishment at Woodford State School, located at 171 Archer St, Woodford QLD 4514 as part of the Renewing Our
Schools Program.
The works include the refurbishment of the existing Art Room, Store Room, Two STEM Classrooms, Two GLA’s, Outdoor
Learning Area and Undercroft Infill. The position of the building is at the centre of the school in Block E, adjacent the Oval, with
adequate site access and working space. All works are to be completed in seperable portions, Seperable Portion 1 - Art Room
& Store Room, Two GLA’s by 24 January 2020 and Seperable Portion 2 - Two STEM Classrooms, Outdoor Learning Area
and Undercroft Infill by 21 February 2020. Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following
requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 2,000,000

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are
required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
