Construction Dock B Car Park Northshore Hamilton

The Minister for Economic Development Queensland is seeking a suitably qualified contractor for the construction of the carpark defined as ‘Dock B carpark’ located at the corner of Macarthur Ave and Bincote Street. This carpark is required to compensate for lost car parking that will be incurred due to the construction of a new office block called ‘The Wheelhouse’ which is expected from August 2023. The construction of the carpark will impact the activated spaces along the Brisbane River waterfront, in particular, Eat Street. Managing surrounding stakeholders is a key component of this procurement.The Customer has issued this Invitation to Offer with the objectives of:

• Construction of the carpark complete in time for the start of construction of ‘The Wheelhouse’
• Traffic management during the construction
• Stakeholder management during the construction
