Morayfield SHS - Covered Links & Service Relocation (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Covered Links & Service Relocation at Morayfield SHS, located at 70 Visentin Road, Morayfield QLD 4506, as part of the Prioritised Nominated Project (PNP) program.

The proposed new covered links and service relocation reticulate through the centre of the school campus, from North-to-South. The scope of works includes, but is not limited to inground reticulation of site services, design and construction of the new covered links and concrete footpaths, as well as the demolition of the existing covered links and footpaths. There is limited site access and working space, and the works will need to be delivered during the school term. All works are to be completed by April 2024.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000
• Have certified 3rd Party Quality Assurance, and

Minimum PQC Level 2 Eligibility required.

Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to provide tender documents, consider or accept a tender unless the tenderer is appropriately registered under the Queensland Government's PQC System for that PQC Level (or higher) and categories for which the tender is invited.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors with a minimum PQC Level 2, with certified 3^rd Party Quality Assurance and QBCC (Low Rise) Builders Licence to undertake the entire scope of works.
