Provision of a Senior Executive Leadership Excellence Program for WA Health

The Department of Health requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced service provider(s) for the development and delivery of a Senior Executive Leadership Excellence Program for multidisciplinary, current and future Senior Executive Leaders working across the WA health system.

Senior Executive Leaders are defined as senior executives and executive team members with significant management responsibilities and a considerable length of experience in large established organisations.

The Senior Executive Leadership Excellence Program will identify and develop the executive leadership talent into the most senior executive leadership positions (e.g. Chief Executives, Assistants Director General) within WA Health. The program will enable participants with executive roles to shape and develop corporate objectives that deliver effective and sustainable healthcare services in line as a Senior Executive. The program will elevate the participants’ leadership capacity to the highest level, equipping them with the skills and systems thinking to advance into the most senior executive positions in WA Health.

The Senior Executive Leadership Excellence Program will be delivered face to face over approximately 4 modules of 2 days duration per module over a 6 to 10 month period. Senior Executive Leadership Excellence Program cohorts will be up to 24 participants.

It is preferred that the Senior Executive Leadership Excellence Program is designed and delivered in a manner that would render participants eligible to attain credit towards a relevant tertiary qualification.
