Description
The Department of Defence is seeking Industry's review and comment on the Project AIR 9000 Phase 7 draft Request for Tender (RFT) documentation suite. The purpose of the Project is to procure, and sustain over a long period, a new Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) to train and qualify Navy and Army ab initio helicopter aircrew.
An Industry Briefing will be conducted in Russell Offices building R1 Theatrette in Canberra on Monday 05 September 2011, commencing at 11:00 a.m.The purpose of this briefing is to provide Industry with an update on Defence's plans for releasing the draft RFT. A security clearance is not required to attend the Industry Briefing.
Organisations wishing to attend the Industry Briefing need to register with the Department of Defence by sending an email, detailing their company name and the names of their nominated attendees to the mailbox:
The closing date for registration is 12:00 noon ( local time) on Friday 02 September 2011.A confirmation email acknowledging registration and added details for the briefing will be forwarded on receipt.Note that the number of attendees permitted by Defence may be limited by Industry's response to this advertisement.
For Industry Briefing attendees, and those unable to attend, nominations can be made to the mailbox listed above for login permission to the Project's GovDex website, and subsequent access to the draft RFT documentation when approved for release by Defence.Each company can nominate two persons to receive Project website logins.
