Provision of Specialised Assessment and Intervention Services

The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for the provision of Specialised Assessment and Intervention Services.

Queensland Corrective Services is seeking to enage a limited number of suppliers to deliver services on a regional basis across the state. QCS ' preference is to engage suppliers operating as companies, or consortiums with a lead contractor responsible for the administration, allocation and performance of individual service providers. This preference does not, however, exclude individual responding to this invitation.

Service delivery will be provided by experienced psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers to:

• inform significant decision making inclusive of prisoner security and classifaction, the making of renewing of maximum security orders, granting parole and managing non-compliance, complex behavious and contraventions.
• undertake assessment and intervention for high risk and/or complex offenders; and
• faciltate professional development workshops and/or training for staff.
