Description
Queensland Bulk Water Supply Authority trading as Seqwater seeks tenders from suitably qualified companies for Operations & Maintenance Services for its bulk water transport network.
It is expected that tenderers will have significant and recent experience in water supply operations (including pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs & chemical dosing), a wide range of routine and reactive maintenance (including civil, mechanical and electrical services) and minor capital works. Pipeline repairs are not currently included in the scope of services.
While Seqwater will consider more than one entity working together to provide the services Seqwater will require a seamless service with a single point of responsibility.
The successful tenderer will be required to mobilise in early July 2013 and take over responsibility for the provision of the services on 31 August 2013. The contract will have a term of 2 years with an option of a further 1 year extension.
