Provision of Services of a Senior Civil and Traffic Engineer

The Senior Civil and Traffic Engineer services required under this Consultancy may include all stages of Investigation, Planning and Project Management in the Project Feasibility and Master Planning phases.

The Consultant will be required to facilitate the definition of, and solutions to the Public Transport Authority‟s requirements.
The Consultant‟s services shall include but are not limited to the following:

1. Management: Providing a high level of Civil, Traffic and Road Safety Engineering advice to the project team; Project managing the work of consultants, ensuring compliance with cost, time, performance criteria, technical specifications, and quality and safety requirements associated with the projects; and Liaising with key stakeholders within Local and State government on the development of the projects as required;
2. Briefs: Preparing briefs to engage sub-consultancy services for route surveys, civil and engineering design, identification of utility services, and costing of works as required; and Assessing consultancy tenders and quotations;
3. Technical Developing concepts and solutions in consultation with other team members and stakeholders for Civil, Traffic and Road Safety Engineering aspects of the projects as required; Developing feasibility assessments and costs estimates; and Maintaining appropriate design standards and fitness for purpose mindful of PTA and other stakeholder requirements.
