The purpose of this project is to produce a Master Visitor Plan (Plan), for the Wallabi Group at the Houtman Abrolhos Islands, WA; in particular for the significant marine and terrestrial sites related to Australia’s second oldest known shipwreck, the Dutch ship Batavia (1629).
The Plan will provide strategic direction and operational guidelines for creating, implementing and managing heritage and nature-based recreation and tourism visitor experiences in the Wallabi Group.
