Description
Main Roads is undertaking a safety camera trial on Kwinana Freeway northbound to gather information pertaining to the compliance of vehicles with the Lane Use Management System (LUMS) overhead signs.
The contract is for a vendor to:
- supply, install, calibrate, and maintain safety camera equipment on Kwinana Freeway northbound; and
capture, store and provide regular data from the equipment throughout the trial to Main Roads on driver compliance with LUMS, such as closed lane signage and variable speeds.
