Provision of Electronic Verification Services

Lotterywest seeks to engage a company that can provide online identity verification of our players (in the context of an e-business solution) playing selected Lotterywest games via the Internet Sales channel.

The solution will utilise and extend the functionality of an Internet Sales software product supplied by Lotterywest's gaming partner INTRALOT Australia Pty Ltd. The proposed contractor will provide and maintain a proven software capability which will validate the identity of an individual online, against the databases of a number of institutions (e.g. Electoral Roll, White Pages, Medicare, Passport, Tax File Number etc.). This software capability will offer fast, real time automated identity verification of a player who wants to play selected Lotterywest games online.

Lotterywest seeks to verify the player's full name, age, address, and West Australian residency status. This service will enable Lotterywest to streamline the identification process providing not only a seamless customer experience but will lead to a higher number of registered players.

The Respondent must be a Document Verification Service Gateway Service Provider.
