Description

The Department of Health and Ageing is seeking tenders from interested organisations and/or consortia to develop a ‘professional development’ training course to support the implementation of an Indigenous Lifescripts resource pack.The professional development course will be targeted at Aboriginal Health Workers, practice nurses and general practitioners, and will facilitate the uptake and use of an Indigenous Lifescripts resource pack in primary health care settings.

The professional development course will be culturally appropriate, based on ‘adult learning principles’, flexible and able to be readily delivered as a ‘stand alone’ course.The successful tenderer will be expected to test the course with the target audience.

It is expected that the successful tenderer will have proven experience in the preparation of professional development content and/or training and course development for an adult teaching and learning environment.The successful tenderer will also have strong expertise in Indigenous health and lifestyle risk factor management.
