Description
The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is seeking to enter into an agreement, in accordance with this RFT and its conditions, for the supply, maintenance and support of a Web Application Firewall. The ABS may purchase units for Development, Test and Production environments.
The ABS is seeking to implement Web Application Firewall technology into its Internet Gateway to:
• provide security for web applications, including web services utilising technologies such as XML, SOAP, RESTful style, HTTP, JSON, .NET, hosted by the ABS; and
• provide security for ABS consumption of external web services.
Web Application Firewalls should support scalability (capacity increases) and high availability options.
Web Application Firewalls should support options to manage the system using secure methods.
