Description

State Library of Western Australia (SLWA) in accordance with its heritage responsibilities, maintains a collection of oral history interviews with significant West Australians. These interviews document the experiences and encounters of the everyday lives of ordinary Western Australians and capture the social history of the state.
The SLWA Oral History program is to produce interviews which give an insight into a particular subject, organisation or event. The focus of the program is to give priority to interviews which complement information in other collections or fill a particular gap in the Oral History collection.
