PANEL ARRANGEMENT FOR THE HIRE OF HELICOPTERS FOR DPAW SOUTH COAST REGION

The Department of Parks and Wildlife South Coast Region (the Customer) requires a Panel Arrangement for the hire of helicopters / rotary winged aircraft (hereafter referred to as “aircraft”) including the provision of a suitably qualified and experienced pilot, for remote air work within the South Coast Region in Western Australia. The Customer has a variety of jobs where aircraft availability would be beneficial to service access to remote areas and conduct surveys.

The Panel Arrangement intends to identify available aircraft for work on the south coast: to:

• ensure the Customer’s aircraft safety procedures are consistently applied to all aircraft use;
• coordinate aircraft use to benefit operators and the Customer where possible; and
• provide available aircraft under one set of conditions and tender process.

Aircraft work may be used in:

• Logistical support and transporting of Customer Personnel;
• Transporting of equipment;
• Sling work; and
• Other land management activities as required from time to time by the Customer.
