Description

The Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) Forest Products require a qualified stakeholder Consultant to undertake a consultation process with key stakeholders, as identified by the Consultant, relating to the proposed development of a hardrock quarry in the Muntalunga Range Area.

Ideally, the consultant will have an understanding of current development proposals in the Townsville region and be capable of identifying and engaging with key stakeholders relevant to the proposed quarry development.

Only one (1) Offerer will be appointed to undertake this Consultancy.

It is expected that the Consultancy Contract will be signed in mid to late January 2010 and the Consultancy will be completed within 15 weeks of a contract being executed between the appointed Consultant and DERM.

The appointed Consultant will work with DERM’s appointed Project Manager and the Steering Committee to ensure a successful outcome.
