Provision of Security Services - Non Accredited Rail Services

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) the Department of Transport (DoT) has a requirement for an appropriately experienced and qualified service provider to provide the following security services:
a) Transperth Bus and Ferry Security Services; and
b) Taxi Industry Security Services.
The current contracts for the provision of the above services expire on 31 March 2013 and it is envisaged that the new contracts for these services will commence from 1 April 2013.
The Contract Principal for the Transperth Bus and Ferry Security Services Contract will be the PTA.
The Contract Principal for the Taxi Industry Security Service Contract will be the DoT.
The Contractor for the Taxi Industry Security Service Contract will be the same Contractor that is awarded the Transperth Bus and Ferry Security Services Contract.
To facilitate DOT acting as Principal for the Taxi Industry Security Service Contract, the Special and General Conditions of Contract as detailed in the Tender documents will be amended as required by primarily inserting DOT in lieu of PTA where mentioned and other minor amendments as required. These changes will be negotiated with the successful Tenderer prior to award.
