Provision of Public Palliative Care Inpatient Beds

Provision of four public palliative care inpatient beds in Launceston in Northern Tasmania, more specifically the provision of 1,460 public palliative care inpatient bed days per annum. Inpatient palliative care, which includes the provision of physical, psychological, social and spiritual care, is to be provided to patients with a life limiting illness of all ages and diagnoses requiring symptom management, end of life care and respite care.
