Description
Council is seeking Tenders for the restoration works for two (2) road slip sites.
- Site 1 is located beside the Mary River on Fishermans Pocket Road, Fishermans Pocket approximately 8km north-west of Gympie (just past Juler Road). The works involve excavation for and placement of rockfill protection along the river bank at two (2) locations.
- Site 2 is located along Mudlo Road, Kilkivan approximately 8.5km north of Kilkivan towards Mudlo. The works involve the restoration of three (3) slip segments which include the following:
- Excavation for and placement of rockfill and gabion baskets at Segment 1
- General vegetation clearing at Segment 2
- Excavation for and placement of rockfill at Segment 3
