Description
The Network & Infrastructure (N&I) division of the Public Transport Authority (PTA) recently engaged an external consultancy to review our Condition Monitoring (CM) Strategy and propose a revised approach that aligns with PTAs strategic direction and stakeholder asset monitoring requirements. The PTA seeks the provision of Services, including (but not limited to): Develop and/or review the technical standards for railway asset condition monitoring systems, that includes detail pertaining to: Industry regulatory minimum requirements,Minimum performance requirements based on Australian/International standards,Operational (performance) conditions & limitations,Measurement parameters & derived calculations,Instrumentation measurement range & accuracy tolerances,Geospatial localisation methodology,Integrative system considerations and capability,Minimum operator competency levels and;Other mandatory requirements referenced within applicable Australian / International Standards for railway asset monitoring requirements relevant to each monitoring system.
