Track Re-Sheeting Twin Rivers Reserve

DBCA is seeking quotes from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to re-sheet a 1,500m section of an existing sand track, located at Twin Rivers Reserve, with a suitable limestone product. Twin Rivers Reserve runs adjacent to the Collie River and is located off Barnes Ave in Australind within the Shire of Harvey, and is a popular destination for passive recreation activities, such as bush walking, observing native flora and fauna and is well utilised by both local residents and visitors to the region. A recent survey identified that Phytophthora Dieback (Phytophthora cinnamoni) is present in the Twin Rivers Reserve, the successful contractor will be required to develop and implement suitable hygiene practices, in accordance with DBCA’s established policies, procedure and guidelines for mitigating the potential risk of spreading Dieback whilst undertaking works under this contract.
