Description
Currango Historic Precinct is the largest and most intact example of permanent settlement above the snowline in Australia. Currango is listed on the State Heritage Register and is open to day and overnight visitors who can book cottages through the online booking system. NPWS requires caretakers to attend to the security, maintenance and guest services at Currango while it is open to the public from the October long weekend to the June long weekend each summer season. Currango Homestead is closed in winter between June and October long weekends. This Sourcing request is for a contract that runs from October 2022 to June 2026 as opposed to the predecessor project which was a 1 year contract expiring in June 2022.
