Woorabinda SS Amenities (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of an Amenities refurbishment and a new PWD Amenities at Woorabinda SS, located at Carbine Street, Woorabinda QLD 4713, as part of the Amenities Program (AMEN) program.

The works include: Refurbishment of existing amenities block to reconfigure the toilets, Design and Construction of a new PWD Toilet and Cleaners room adjacent to the amenities block with a covered link and the contractor is to supply of Temporary Amenities for the students for the duration of the project. The position of the building is at the rear of the school with easy site access and ample working space. All works are to be completed by the end of June 2024.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1m

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
