WA Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions
Midwest Regional Operations Centre – Murchison District
Details
Description
The Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions purchased a property at 351 Eighth Street, Woorree to become the Midwest Regional Operations Centre. The property is being developed to establish a consolidated workplace for the current 65+ DBCA staff in Geraldton as well as accommodate a fire operations and training centre for local and remote staff.
Following the completion of works in 2024, which included the upgrade and refit of an existing administration building to accommodate regional staff, the current works involve a new office fit-out within an existing light workshop to house district staff.
