Across Government Panel Contract for the Provision of Temporary Staff Services

Shared Services SA on behalf of the State Procurement Board (“the Board”) is seeking Tenders for the provision of Temporary Staff Services to South Australian Government Departments, Statutory Authorities and approved bodies (collectively ‘Customers’).

The South Australian Government (“the State”) has an existing contract for the provision of Temporary Staff Placement Services which is due to expire 30 June 2011.

Within this Request for Tender (“RFT”), the Board is seeking responses from suitably qualified Suppliers to provide the following Services:
• Category 1 - Clerical and Administrative;
• Category 2 - Information and Communication Technology (ICT);
• Category 3 - Professional Financial and Accounting; and
• Category 4 - Labour Hire.

The Board is seeking to establish a panel arrangement that will provide Customers with flexibility, ease of access and choice of Service Providers that are able to provide resources, at competitive pricing, to assist Customers in meeting their business objectives.

This contract will cover the engagement of Temporary Staff required for short-term assignments or to meet special workload needs.

The length of assignments will be determined in accordance with the human resource policy of each individual Government Department.

It is anticipated that the resulting Agreement(s) will be established for a period of three (3) years and include provisions for the State to extend this for an additional two (2) periods of one (1) year. The Board reserves the right to consider further extensions beyond this period.

The State’s requirements in respect of this RFT are set out in Part C – Specification of Requirements. Tenderers are required to provide a response to each and every one of the questions set out in Part E – Response Schedules.
