Description

The Department of Education and Training is seeking submissions from tenderers to provide National Project Manager (NPM) services for Australia's involvement in the Programme for International Students Assessment (PISA) 2018.

PISA is an international assessment of 15 year old students in reading, mathematical and scientific literacy, which has been conducted by the Organisation for EconomicCo-operation and Development (OECD) over a three year cycle since 2000. Australia has participated in all six cycles of PISA since 2000, and will be participating in the seventh cycle in 2018, known as PISA 2018.

Each country that participates in PISA is required to appoint a NPM. The main services to be provided by Australia’s PISA 2018 NPM include reviewing test items and instruments, undertaking a wide range of tasks associated with preparing for and administering the field trial and main study, reporting Australian results from the main study, and close liaison and collaboration with local and international stakeholders to effectively manage Australia’s involvement in PISA.
