RPQ0124 - Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers for Tree and Arboricultural Services

Tenders are invited to establish a Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers for Tree and Arboricultural Services (RPQS).

The arrangement is structured into three categories:

• Category One (1) General Tree Removals (Non Specialised Arboricultural Services)
• Category Two (2) Specialised Arboricultural Services

It is Council’s intent to establish contractors under each of categories to provide routine tree maintenance services, as well as establish a register of tree maintenance contractors for any emergency works. These services are to be performed at the tendered rates. Routine tree maintenance services contractors may also be requested to attend to emergency works, in which case the emergency tendered rates will apply. Tree and arboricultural services are utilised by multiple units across Council in support of a variety of operational and maintenance activities, including major construction projects and road works.

Respondents are invited to submit tenders for one or both categories.

This RPQS will be established for two years.

Council may extend the term if this Arrangement for the Further Period of two (2) terms of up to twelve (12) months each at the sole discretion of Council.

Inclusion onto this RPQS does not provide a guarantee of supply during the term of this Arrangement.

A Tender Information Session is scheduled for Thursday 31 October 2019 at John Street Training Room, John Street Depot, 1 John Street, Gympie commencing at 12noon. It is not mandatory for Respondents to attend, and thus not a condition of tendering to attend this Tender Information Session.
