Description

The purpose of this tender process is to identify an independent evaluator to assess the reinstated Murri Court.
The evaluation will provide an early indication of the effectiveness of Murri Court and will involve:
• investigating if Murri Court is operating as intended (this includes commenting on the availability of support services in the community and how this availability impacts on the operation of Murri Court);
• identifying ways to improve the operation of Murri Court;
• understanding any differences between various Murri Court locations;
• determining if Murri Court is achieving program outcomes (as identified in the program logic);
• assessing if Murri Court supports a reduction in participant reoffending;
• understanding if Murri Court is cost-efficient;
• seeking independent research ethics approval;
• using sound and culturally appropriate research strategies.
