Description
The Department of Community Safety, on behalf of the Queensland Fire & Rescue Service, is inviting offers for the design, establishment and administration of a smoke alarm subsidy for deaf and hard of hearing people with a view to establishing a contract. The objective of the scheme is to assist financially disadvantaged people who cannot hear a standard smoke alarm to purchase a suitable system that meets their needs and satisfies the requirements of the Fire and Rescue Service Amendment Act 2006.
