The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Block O Staffroom Refurb at Kawana Waters SC, located at Sportsmans Parade, Bokarina QLD 4575, as part of the Targeted program.

The scope of works includes the removal of the internal contents including flooring, joinery, windows, doors and walls. Install new flooring, joinery, windows and doors. All works are to be completed by May 2025.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
