Kawana Waters State College Performing Arts Refurbishment

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Performing Arts
Refurbishment (Block M) at Kawana Waters State College, located at 119 Sportsmans Parade, Bokarina Qld 4575.

The works include new Vinyl Flooring to the staffroom. New carpets and ceilings to the Instrument Store. New operable wall,
louvres, wall linings, ceilings, carpets and bio box to classrooms 1,2 and 3. The position of the building is on the eastern side of
the school, adjacent to the existing tennis courts, with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by
24 January 2020.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

•  Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
•  Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are
required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
