Ground Penetrating Radar

Queensland Rail invites offers to undertake a ground penetrating radar survey. Queensland Rail obtains different types of condition data for various types of assets. This project involves capture and processing of ground penetrating radar (GPR) and accompanying data, which is intended to be used by Queensland Rail primarily to manage ballast and formation assets. Some delivered data may also be used for other applications, such as updating Queensland Rail records for the extent of sleeper types.

PROCESS OVERVIEW

Respondents who wish to access the tender documents must have a SAP Ariba network account and register the account to do business with Queensland Rail to enable visibility of your Ariba profile. To register, refer to the Ariba Registration for Suppliers guide. You must also then register interest by emailing the Contact Officer ([email hidden]) providing the following details:

• Name of Tendering Organisation
• Ariba Network ID (ANID)
• ABN Name of Tender Representative
• Email address of Tender Representative
• Phone number

Queensland Rail will only accept offers submitted via the Ariba Sourcing system. The information uploaded on QTenders is not all the information, however it is enough information for the suppliers / interested tenderers to determine whether the scope of works is suitable for their company profile. If a company is interested, please follow the above-mentioned steps.

Ariba Sourcing, Queensland Rail's tendering system, is the only tendering tool that must be used to submit offers. Queensland Rail will not accept any physical responses or responses via the Queensland Government QTenders website. Refer to the attached document Ariba Guide for Suppliers for instructions on how to navigate Ariba Sourcing (once your interest has been registered).
