Camp Fairbairn Outdoor Education Centre - Amenities Refurbishment (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of an Amenities Refurbishment at Camp Fairbairn Outdoor Education Centre , located at Fairbairn Dam, Gindie, QLD, 4702, as part of the Amenities Program (AMEN) program.

The works comprise of a complete refurbishment and reconfiguration of the existing amenities block, including new walls, screens, fittings and fixtures. A temporary amenities block is required for the duration of the works. All works are to be completed by the end of June 2023

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
