Description

Work involves the excavation and installation of approximately 1750 m of drain to divert the flow in Dawesley Creek at the Brukunga Mine Site. Work includes excavation and installation of approximately 1015 m of large diameter pipe (nominally 1.5 m) and excavation through rocky ground of approximately 750 m of open channel. Two small, clay core, rock reinforced weirs are to be constructed across the creek, upstream to divert flow into the drain and downstream to intercept polluted water in the creek.
